Superb grip and a perfectly smooth asphalt course awaited the drivers in the final race of the 2009 Formula 1 season. They went to the starting grid in Abu Dhabi for the first time on 1st November. The brand new 5.5 km "Yas Marina Circuit" was constructed with the intensive collaboration of numerous rollers from Hamm AG in Tirschenreuth.

mehrThe latest addition to the successful HD series of articulated tandem rollers from Hamm are the rollers with the "plus" sign, the HD+ 120 and the HD+ 140 . They have been successfully taking over road construction sites in the USA and Europe since the end of 2008. One of the first jobs in Germany was the compaction of a compact asphalt pavement on the A61 Motorway employing the "hot-on-hot" process. In an operation that took five nights, the efficiency of an HD+ 140 VO was put to the test in style.

mehrThe 48 km long Inner Ring Road, was opened for traffic in 1994. Now, after 14 years in operation, some sections needed maintenance. The Shanghai Chengji Municipal Company was awarded for this contract. As this is a highly frequented road, the work mainly had to be carried out during night time. Each night a section of approx. 1.200 sqm was to be repaired.
