With a HAMM roller to a national victory

Reinhold Baisch, Board Member of HAMM AG (2nd from left), congratulated Kai-Nils Feddern on his successful model at the bauma fair.

The Hamburg-born Kai-Nils Feddern passed his journeyman's examination in the summer of 2007 with a straight "A", qualifying as a mechanic for agricultural and construction technology. With his result, the trainee of the Hamburg branch of BMTI GmbH attained the highest number of points in Germany. He developed his capabilities, among other things, in the manufacture of a HAMM Vibratory Compator 3625. Working independently, he had been continuously constructing the scale 1:33 model during his training – including the 3-point pivot joint, of course.

The talented 22-year-old had no need to worry about looking for a job. He has since been permanently employed in the BMTI workshop, where he will also service and maintain HAMM vibratory compactors and rollers.

Germany's best mechanic for agricultural and construction technology built the true-to-life model HAMM Vibratory Compactor 3625 from the drawing to the finishing, all on his own.
