Franz and Anton Hamm are founding their company, the machine factory Gebrüder HAMM in 1878 in Tirschenreuth. Both brothers are gunsmiths, industrious and farsighted. They succeed in getting independent when buying the property in Schmellerstrasse 5, in Tirschenreuth. This first company is converted into an agricultural machine producing factory in the following years.
